Volunteer Opportunities

The Children’s Cabinet at Incline Village is in need of additional volunteers.  Whether the value of your time is spent on reading with a child in the Homework Help Club, assisting customers at our local thrift store or participating in fundraising events, you are sure to experience the satisfaction of knowing that your time has helped children and families in our community.

The Homework Help Club
Volunteer one hour of your time per day at the Incline Elementary School or volunteer one hour on a particular day of the week.  You will make a significant difference in the academic achievements of a child.  Please call Leslie at (775) 298-0204.

Thrift Store
CCIV’s Thrift store is in need of volunteers to assist with customer service, sorting, pricing and displaying store items.  Volunteer some of your time in helping our community members get good deals and quality items.  Volunteers are also needed in the transportation of donated goods to the store.  If you are interested, please call Nancy at (775) 833-4414.

Fundraising and Family Events
CCIV’s hosts fun and exciting events year round.  Our annual Sink’em and Hold’em Golf and Poker Tournament takes place every September at the Chateau in Incline.  Volunteers are needed to help with decorations, registration, raffle ticket sales, beverage sales and guest services. 

CCIV also hosts annual “Speaker Events” (usually in October) in which volunteers can assist with event planning, registration and sponsorships.

The Children’s Cabinet will soon host “Bingo Nights” in collaboration with other community organizations.  This will include a fun-filled evening of “bingo”, great food and raffle prizes.  Volunteers will be needed for hosting food and beverage areas, purchasing of bingo cards and distribution of raffle prizes.  Visit our website soon for more information.   

“Brunch with Santa” is a family event held in December each year.  Volunteers are needed to help the children with arts and crafts projects, photos with Santa and Mrs. Clause, decorations and registration.
