Parenting Education

The Children's Cabinet will begin a parenting education series on July 8, 2008. The program will consist of six sessions and will be held on Tuesdays from 5:30pm to 7:00pm. The focus of the parenting program will be on helping parents of children ages 3 to 12 learn new techniques for interacting with their children. Sessions are based on Dr. Paula Bender's book, How to Keep Your Kids from Driving You Crazy and will be facilitated by Leslie Blunden, M.A.

The cost of the parenting program is $15.00 per session or $75.00 for full payment if paid in advance. A second series will take place in the fall and will focus on parents with teens.
