Homework Help Club

The Homework Help Club (HHC) provides assistance to first and second grade students who may be at risk of falling behind academically. Students are referred to the program by their teachers at the Incline Elementary School. The club meets for one hour after regular daily instruction. CCIV staff and volunteers work diligently with the students Monday through Thursday to assist them in completing their homework assignments. On Fridays, the students are given the opportunity for creative thinking and story writing in the Writer's Workshop. This is a no cost program.

Funding to support the Homework Help Club is provided by the United Way of Northern Nevada (UWNN), The Parasol Tahoe Community Foundation (PTCF), Bank of America Charitable Trust and the American Association of University Women (AAUW). Other supporters of the club include private donors, Project MANA and the Incline Elementary School.
